Summary:
This is a civil action to recover damages sustained by the County arising out of a motor vehicle accident.
Ms. Perez was the permissive user of Ms. Dodd’s 2010 Mazda, which was stolen after Ms. Perez left the vehicle unattended with the keys inside. The vehicle was later discovered by Deputy Jose Berrios, PCSO, who gave chase. The driver fled after losing control of the vehicle and crashing into a guardrail at Bryan Dairy Road and 109th Avenue North, Largo, FL. Repairs to the guardrail and handrail by the County totaled $7,041.59.
