Recommended Action:

Recommended Action

Approval of Change Order No. 1 increase with Cigna Health and Life Insurance Company, as requested by the Human Resources Department, for requirements of dental benefits.

 

                     This agreement provides County employees, dependents, and retirees with dental benefits.

                     Increase of $2,500,000.00 for payment of dental claims for a revised expenditure of $14,655,000.00.

                     Contract No. 21-0179-RFP awarded by the Board of County Commissioners on October 12, 2021, with the original expenditure amount of $12,155,000.00 for a sixty-month term period.

                     Funding is included in the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 Adopted Budget for the Employee Health Benefits Fund. Costs will continue to be monitored for these driving factors and any need for a budget amendment during FY26.
