Summary:
This agreement will provide funding for operating expenses including utilities, facility maintenance, janitorial supplies and service, aquatic supplies and services, and base operational salaries and related salary benefits.
Background/Explanation:
It is necessary to enter into Specific Performance Agreements with qualified agencies to allow for certain activities to be contractually delegated and specify the obligation of the agencies receiving funds in meeting County requirements. CDBG requirements limit the amount of funds that can be spent on public service activities to 15% of the grant allocation. Due to limited availability of CDBG funds and the number of applications for public service project assistance received, this project will be funded with General Funds.
Fiscal Impact:
The total amount of funding for this agreement is not to exceed $235,000.00 during the term of the Agreement. Funding for this Agreement is budgeted from the Community Development and Planning Division’s General Fund reserve.
Delegated Authority:
Authority for the County Administrator to sign this Agreement is granted under Code Section 2-62 (a)(1).
