Summary:

This First Amendment modifies the original Cooperative Funding Agreement to update the contact information for SWFWMD, and extend the expiration date from February 28, 2019 to June 1, 2021.  The additional time is needed for resolution of utility conflicts.

Background/Explanation:

The Board of County Commissioners approved the original agreement on January 24, 2017 to provide fifty percent (50%) of the funding needed for stormwater improvements to the subject project.  The primary objectives are to improve water quality and alleviate structural flooding in the area utilizing the 100-year, 24-hour storm event for flood protection.  The project will also alleviate street flooding at the intersection of the Pinellas Trail and 54th Avenue North.
