Summary:
This First Amendment to the CDBG Agreement CD25PARCBV provides additional CDBG funding, extends the term of the restricted period of the land use restriction, and increases the amount of required property insurance coverage PARC must carry through the term of the Agreement. The term of the Agreement remains unchanged.
The project includes the construction of a 450 square foot addition, including the demolition and clearance of an existing screened patio enclosure, the expansion construction, and the installation of an exterior sidewalk from the new addition to the existing sidewalk.
The lowest bid for the project was $28,000.00 higher than the anticipated project cost and the County is providing an additional $20,000.00 to complete the project.
As a result of the additional funding being provided, it is necessary to extend the term of the restricted period of the land use restriction 12 months, restricting the use of the property to serving low-and moderate-income individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through October 1, 2039.
Additionally, the amount of property insurance PARC must carry on the property is being increased to equal the amount of the CDBG funded construction costs.
This First Amendment does not change the term of the Agreement. The Agreement is effective for one (1) year, from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026.
