Summary:

JERMC Ltd. is a limited partnership that owns the Redington Long Pier.  In 2006, Pinellas County obtained an injunction against JERMC Ltd. to secure the pier and prohibit any public access to the pier unless and until the pier was properly repaired.  Although remaining closed to the public, the pier has continued to fall into a state of disrepair such as to become a hazard to public safety for those who may be recreating below it.  JERMC Ltd. has been afforded an opportunity to bring the pier into compliance with the Code, but has not done so.  This suit would see the injunctive relief against JERMC Ltd. to abate the public hazard.

This approval includes bringing suit against all defendants that may be or become necessary to fully litigate this action.
