Award bid to TLC Diversified, Inc. (TLC Diversified) for FY 2016 - FY 2018 sanitary sewer pump station repair, rehabilitation and improvements.

Bid No. 145-0491-CP(DF); PID No. 000964A; in the amount of $5,997,777.00 on the basis of being the lowest responsive, responsible bid received meeting specifications; all work is expected to be completed within 1,095 consecutive calendar days.  Chairman to sign and Clerk of the Court to attest.

Summary:

Staff has reviewed the bids and recommends award to TLC Diversified in the amount of $5,997,777.00.

This contract is for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewer pump stations at various locations throughout the County.  Work may include the furnishing and installation of pumps, valves, fittings, electrical equipment, panels, conduits, vaults, trenching/boring, bypass pumping, dewatering, restoration, testing and other incidental work required to re-commission a pump station.

 

Background Information: 

Award of this contract is consistent with the sanitary sewer pump station asset management program for renewal and replacement based on a twenty (20) year life cycle.

Fiscal Impact:

Total expenditure not to exceed: $5,997,777.00

 

Funding for this project is derived from the Utilities Department Sewer Enterprise fund.
