Summary:

Attached is a memo reporting two (2) General Liability settlements and three (3) works compensation for 10/1/2018 - 12/31/2018.  This is a receipt and file report for general liability settlements and workers compensation settlements made under delegated authority to the joint discretion of the County Administrator or his/her designee and the County Attorney.

 

Background Information:

Attached is a memo from Virginia E. Holscher to Jewel White and Paul Sacco dated January 8, 2019, stating that there were two (2) General Liability settlements and three (3) Workers Compensation settlements to report for the quarter that required mutual consent for the settlement range of $25,001.00 - $50,000.00. 

The Board of County Commissioners has delegated settlement authority of claims with a dollar range of $25,001.00 - $50,000.00 to the joint discretion of the County Administrator or his/her designee and the County Attorney.

 

Fiscal Impact:

Combined total fiscal impact for these five (5) claims is $199,230.60, which will be paid out of the Risk Financing Fund 5005 for FY 2019
