Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the First Amendment term extension to the agreements with Southern Landscaping Materials and Wholesale Landscape Supply d/b/a Big Earth Landscape Supply for the requirements of Roadway and Landscape Materials - a Tampa Bay Area Purchasing Cooperative contract.
• This Cooperative contract, administered by Pinellas County, is for roadway and landscape materials necessary to complete roadway improvements and various improvements to grounds and landscaping. This contract includes the requirements for the cities of Clearwater, Dunedin, Oldsmar, St. Petersburg, and Tarpon Springs.
• This First Amendment exercises the first twelve-month term extension, increasing the agreement with Southern Landscaping Materials in the amount of $452,095.00 and with Wholesale Landscape Supply d/b/a Big Earth Landscape Supply in the amount of $812,780.00 for Roadway and Landscape Materials. The increases to the contract are for services to be provided over the term extension; it is not an increase to the contract due to additional material needs.
• The County Administrator has authority to approve term extensions at the same pricing, terms, and conditions, that were approved as part of the initial award by the Board of County Commissioners (BCC), per Code Section 2-188(D).
• Per the original BCC approved contract, this amendment exercises the first of four (4) twelve-month term extensions.
