Plaintiff alleges to have sustained injuries after she fell on a wet floor in the entrance way of the Juvenile Assessment Center (JAC), located within the Criminal Justice Center (CJC) in Clearwater. Pinellas County leases the portion of the CJC used as the JAC to the State of Florida, Department of Juvenile Justice. Plaintiff alleges negligence against the State of Florida, Department of Juvenile Justice; Pinellas County; and Operation Par, Inc.
The County Attorney’s Office will bring all counterclaims, cross-claims, or third party claims as necessary or appropriate in the judgment of the County Attorney.
