Approval of the petition by SE Combined Services LLC d/b/a Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, Inc. to vacate that portion of Sylvan Abbey Road (County Road Number 193).
• Request is for the vacation of portion of this petitioned road that is internal to the petitioner’s property.
• It has been a privately maintained historic access to the Sylvan Abbey Cemetery.
• The property was recently annexed into the City of Clearwater.
• Staff recommends approval.
• If the petition is granted, the Board of County Commissioners is asked to adopt the attached resolution pursuant to Florida State Statute 336.09.
Authorize the Clerk of the Circuit Court to record the resolution in the public records of Pinellas County.

Summary:
The purpose of the request is to vacate a portion of the 60-foot-wide right-of-way, known as Sylvan Abbey Road (County Road Number 193) lying within the petitioner’s property. This is a petitioned road “paper road” that was never constructed nor is there a future need for this right-of-way for transportation. Additionally, the petitioner’s property is in the City of Clearwater. There are no proposed changes to the use of the vacated area.
Background Information:
• County staff reviewed the request pursuant to Pinellas County Land Development Code Section 154-272, Criteria for Consideration, and have no objections to the vacation request.
• The petition was properly advertised in accordance with Florida State Statue 336.10. Notices were mailed by the Clerk of Court to property owners within 250 feet of the subject property.
• Letters of no objection were received from City of Clearwater, Spectrum, Pinellas County Utilities, Frontier, TECO Gas, TECO Electric, Duke, and WOW!
