Approve the appointment of three additional members to Youth Advisory Committee (YAC).
• Applications were received during the 2020-2021 school year YAC application window.
• Due to early drop-off of 3 previously appointed members, staff recommends the appointment of 3 new members.
• Applicant names can be viewed on the attached list.
• Recommended voice vote of approval of slate, as there are 3 applicants for 3 vacancies.

Background Information:
At the September 22, 2020 Board of County Commissioners meeting, the BCC appointed 35 members to the 2020 - 2021 YAC. Since then, three members have necessarily resigned their positions due scheduling conflicts. To allow more Pinellas students the opportunity to participate in YAC, the Committee wishes to appoint three additional members whose applications were received in a timely fashion during the above referenced application window. The three applicants have voiced a desire to be appointed to the Committee and have already attended meetings as members of the public. YAC seeks approval of these three candidates to bring this school year’s total participants back up to 35 members.
