On February 22, 2022, an administrative fine was assessed until compliance is achieved, as a result of numerous code violations, including minimum housing, trash and debris, and inoperable vehicle.  On April 18, 2023, a Special Magistrate lien was filed against Robert L. Henry and May D. Henry, et al., as a result of the numerous code violations. To date, compliance has not been achieved. The liens have not been satisfied and the violations continue to exist.  The property to be foreclosed upon is an unoccupied, non-homestead residential property.

This authorization includes bringing suit against all defendants that are or may become necessary to fully litigate this action.

If the property goes to foreclosure sale, the County Administrator is authorized to direct staff to make a bid in the amount of the foreclosure judgment, or a lesser amount (including no bid) as determined by the County Administrator.  The County Administrator is further authorized to take all necessary action to ensure the foreclosure sale proceeds and, if appropriate, to participate in the foreclosure auction.
