Approve one citizen appointment in the Public Sector category to the Pinellas Opportunity Council to fulfil an existing term, which expires on Jul. 31, 2028.

Background Information:
The Pinellas Opportunity Council, Inc. (POC) is the local Community Action Agency, established in 1968, to combat poverty in Pinellas County. Their mission is to help alleviate conditions of poverty, revitalize local communities, and promote self-sufficiency by mobilizing resources to develop and implement programs that deliver an array of services to address various individual, family and community needs.
The Council is composed of 21 community members, representing three sectors of the community. The Public Sector consists of elected officials or their representatives; the Private Sector consists of representatives of major groups or interests located in the community; the Target Sector consists of democratically selected representatives of low-income individuals and families residing in Pinellas County. The Board of County Commissioners appoints two public sector members.
