Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the First Amendment to the agreement with athenahealth, Inc. for Electronic Health Record (EHR) for Low Income and Homeless Healthcare Programs.
• This contract provides for a modern EHR to allow for proactive health service delivery, community care coordination, service planning, oversight, decision support, and effective communication and patient engagement.
• This First Amendment acknowledges that Pinellas County will not use athenahealth lockbox services, removes the ARPA grant provisions from the agreement and increases the contract value by $225,000.00 for telehealth, API and voice solutions for a revised contract value of $3,732,208.75.
• The original award was approved by the Board of County Commissioners on September 19, 2024, in the amount of $3,507,208.75
• Funding for this amendment is budgeted in FY25 in the Business Technology Services Fund.
Contract No. 24-0330-RFP(AJM): increase the contract amount by $225,000.00 for a revised not-to-exceed amount of $3,732,208.75.
