• Request is for the vacation of a portion of this petitioned road that is internal to the petitioner’s property.
• There is no public access to this petitioned road.
• Staff recommends approval.
• If the petition is granted, the Board of County Commissioners is asked to adopt the attached Resolution pursuant to Florida State Statute 336.09.
Authorize the Clerk of the Circuit Court to record the resolution in the public records of Pinellas County.

Summary
The purpose of the request is to vacate a portion of the right-of-way, known as Poultry Blvd Road (County Road Number 139), lying within the petitioner’s property. This is a petitioned road “paper road” that was never constructed nor is there a future need for this right-of-way for transportation. Additionally, the petitioner’s property is in the City of Pinellas Park. The property is being developed with a self-storage facility. Easements will be retained over the major drainage channel dedicated to the Pinellas Park Water Management District.

County staff reviewed the request pursuant to Pinellas County Land Development
Code Section 154-272, Criteria for Consideration, and have no objections to the vacation request.
The petition was properly advertised in accordance with Florida State Statue 336.10. Notices were mailed by the Clerk of Court to property owners within 250 feet of the subject property.
Letters of no objection were received from City of Pinellas Park, Pinellas Park Water Management District, Spectrum, Pinellas County Utilities, Frontier, TECO Gas, TECO Electric, Duke, and WOW!.
