Contract No. 145-0020-NC (SS) increase in the amount of $169,956.00, for a revised amount of $1,871,307.22; effective through December 17, 2019.

Summary:
This First Amendment increases the contract by $169,956.00 for construction administration services as additional time is required through project completion.
A term extension of four-hundred (400) days is requested due to various coordination issues with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Gateway project, and third party utilities, and the Landside construction project. .
Background/Explanation:
On February 23, 2016, the Board of County Commissioners approved a contract with Cardno, Inc., to provide design development of roadway and parking lot improvements for the Airport.
Fiscal Impact:
Estimated original expenditure not to exceed: $1,701,351.22
First Amendment Increase: $ 169,956.00
Revised contract amount: $1,871,307.22
Funding is derived from FDOT Gateway Express Project Damages/Cures.
Delegated Authority:
Authority for the County Administrator to approve and execute this amendment is granted under Code Section 2-176(f).
