Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the Fourth Amendment (term extension) to the Agreement with Econolite Systems, Inc. for software supporting advanced traffic management system implementation and maintenance services.
• This contract provides for the supply, installation, and implementation of the main Centracs Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) software in the County Transportation Primary Control Center (PCC).
• This Fourth Amendment extends the term for one-year and continues the maintenance services of Centracs ATMS Services at the yearly price of $51,300.00 through June 30, 2025.
• This contract was competitively solicited and awarded by the Board of County Commissioners on October 20, 2020, in the amount of $1,763,620.42. The First Amendment was for a time extension, approved by the Purchasing Director on January 11, 2022. The Second Amendment was to acknowledge the corporate acquisition of Econolite Systems, Inc., by EGI Intermediate Inc, approved August 5, 2022. The County Administrator approved the Third Amendment on April 5, 2024, to increase the contract by $56,363.00 to provide sufficient funds for an additional year of maintenance and support services.
• Funding is budgeted under the ATMS Central Software Purchase (Project 003775A), included in the Capital Improvement Plan, funded by the Local Option Fuel Tax.
Contract No. 189-0215-P increase in the amount of $51,300.00, for a revised not-to-exceeded total amount of $1,871,283.42.
