Summary:
This contract provides interior painting services for County facilities. Contract services include site preparation, paint application, paint and paint supplies required for each project.
Background Information:
On April 28, 2017, the Purchasing Department, on behalf of the Real Estate Management Department, released an invitation to bid with the intent to establish a contract for interior paint services. The contract contains a provision for price adjustment (increase/decrease) at twelve (12) months after the date of award and thereafter annually for the life of the contract in an amount not to exceed the average of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for all Urban Consumers, Not Seasonally Adjusted for the twelve (12) months prior. This contract replaces a current contract that expires July 2017.
Fiscal Impact:
The estimated sixty (60) month expenditure is an amount not to exceed $1,613,750.00, with an annual expenditure amount not to exceed #322,750.00. Funding is derived from the operational budgets of departments utilizing this contract.
