Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the Change Order No. 2 (final) with Manhattan Construction (Florida) Inc., for design-build professional services pertaining to final closure/completion of the St. Petersburg Justice Center Courts Consolidation project.

 

                     Phase I of the design-build contract was awarded by the Board of County Commissioners (Board) on June 19, 2018, for eight (8) consecutive calendar months in the amount of $633,147.00 for pre-construction services.

                     The First Amendment Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) was approved by the Board on October 8, 2019, in the amount of $11,770,576.00 for 658 consecutive calendar days.

                     Change Order No. 1 was approved by the Board on September 21, 2021, increasing the contract by $375,000.00 and extending the contract by 237 calendar days.

                     Change Order No. 2 (final) decreases the contract amount by ($149,233.00) for reconciliation of owner’s contingency and project allowances. In addition, the change order increases the date of substantial completion by 1,176 calendar days for a revised substantial completion date of June 16, 2025.

                     Funding for this project is budgeted under the St. Pete Courts Consolidation Project 001109C, included in the Capital Improvement Plan, funded by the Penny for Pinellas.

 

Contract No. 167-0496-NC (SS) decrease the contract amount by ($149,233.00) for a revised total amount of $12,629,490.00 and increase the date of substantial completion by 1,176 calendar days for a revised substantial completion date of June 16, 2025.
