Approval of the revisions to the Tourist Development Council (TDC) Bylaws.
• Revisions to Bylaws include:
o Allow the Board of County Commissioners at its sole discretion to appoint any of the 7 non-elected TDC members who have reached their term limit of 12 years to an additional two-year term as an ex officio, non-voting member.
o No more than two members under this provision may serve at once.
• The Board approved the current Bylaws on April 10, 2024.
• The TDC discussed the proposed revisions on August 19, 2026, and had no objections.

The TDC Chair presented the proposed revisions on August 19, 2026, and received no objections from the TDC. If approved, the proposed Bylaws will allow the BCC at its sole discretion to appoint any of the 7 non-elected TDC members who have reached their term limit of 12 years to an additional two-year term as an ex officio, non-voting member. No more than two members under this provision may serve at once.
The current Bylaws were approved by the TDC on February 21, 2024, and by the Board on April 10, 2024.
