Approval and adoption of resolution authorizing conveyance of surplus parcel to Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County, Inc. (Habitat), and execution of a County Deed of conveyance of said parcel.
Delegate authority to the County Administrator to execute all necessary instruments to complete the disposition and sale of parcel 33-29-16-39402-008-0170 to include the First Amendment to Contract for Sale and Purchase, and the Land Use Restriction Agreement (LURA) labeled Exhibit B to the County Deed of conveyance.
• Resolution 23-1 declared the parcel surplus.
• Resolution 25-26 authorized conveyance of an incorrect parcel due to a transposition error.
• Anticipated revenue from the sale of the parcel is $50,000 and is not included in the Fiscal Year 2025 Operating Budget for Housing and Community Development. This revenue will be placed into the Community Housing Trust Fund.
Authorize the Chairman to sign and the Clerk of the Circuit Court to attest and record the resolution in the public records of Pinellas County and authorize the Chairman to sign and the Clerk of the Circuit Court to attest the County Deed of conveyance.

Approval of Resolution by the Board to convey surplus parcel 33-29-16-39402-008-0170 to Habitat as referenced in Contract 24-0962A-RFN, and execution of the County Deed of conveyance of the parcel. Authorize the County Administrator to execute all other documents required for the disposition and sale of the parcel to include the First Amendment to Contract for Sale and Purchase, and LURA (Exhibit B) to the County Deed of conveyance.

Background Information:
Resolution 25-26 dated March 25, 2025, authorized conveyance of parcel ID 32-30-16-79452-000-0170. The Resolution, Contract for Sale and Purchase, County Deed, and LURA (Exhibit B) all contained the transposition error. The correct parcel ID is 33-29-16-39402-008-0170, per the Contract 24-0962A-RFN, submitted by Habitat. Approval of this new Resolution, and execution of the County Deed referencing the correct parcel, will clarify the proper parcel number to be conveyed to Habitat.
Fiscal Impact:
Anticipated revenue from the sale of the parcel is $50,000 and is not included in the FY25 Operating Budget for HCD. This revenue will be placed into the Community Housing Trust Fund and is anticipated to create an additional $50,000 in unanticipated revenue. A future budget amendment would be necessary to utilize this revenue in FY25.
