Subject:
Corrective Deed with the Pinellas County Housing Authority.
Recommended Action:
Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the Corrective Deed (Deed) with the Pinellas County Housing Authority (PCHA), a public body corporate and politic established pursuant to Chapter 421 of Florida Statutes, to correct the name of the Grantee.
• On March 5th, 2024, the Board of County Commissioners conveyed a County owned parcel to PCHA for an affordable housing project, Heritage Oaks.
• Execution of the deed will revise and correct the name of the Grantee.

Background/Explanation:
On March 5th, 2024, The Board of County Commissioners declared a County owned parcel as surplus and authorized the conveyance of the parcel to the Pinellas County Housing Authority for an Affordable Housing Project named Heritage Oaks. The County deed conveying the parcel omitted the reference “a public body corporate and politic established pursuant to Chapter 421 of Florida Statutes”. The Deed will rectify this omission.
