Recommended Action

Sitting as the Countywide Planning Authority, accept the Countywide Plan Map adjustment submitted by the City of Gulfport.

 

                     The City of Gulfport is seeking to adjust the boundary lines between the Preservation and Residential Low Medium categories based on wetland determination by the city and due to approved fill activities on the site.

                     The adjustment involves approximately 0.25 acre located at 2205 Pasadena Place.

                     The Countywide Rules allow for these minor adjustments when the adjustment involves Preservation and/or Recreation/Open Space.

                     Forward Pinellas and the Planners Advisory Committee each unanimously recommended approval of this map adjustment.

Forward Pinellas, in its role as the Pinellas Planning Council, voted 9-0 to recommend official acceptance of the map adjustment.  The Planners Advisory Committee recommended official acceptance of this map adjustment by a vote of 11-0.
