Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the Fourth Amendment to the contract with Robin Collier dba Sprinklermatic Fire Protection Systems Inc to acknowledge a corporate name change to Sprinklermatic Florida LLC pertaining to the contract for fire protection systems maintenance and repair services.
• This contract provides routine safety testing, inspection, certification, and repair services, for fire protection systems for all Countywide locations as required by Florida Statutes.
• This is a corporate name change only. There is no fiscal impact associated with this Fourth Amendment.
• Rich Collier dba Sprinklermatic Fire Protection Systems, Inc converted to an employee share owned (ESOP) company on January 1, 2022. Some company locations had not been in business the required amount of time, therefore a temporary company has been established to convert the newer branches to Sprinklermatic Florida LLC. After the required amount of time for ESOP eligibility, they will be purchased back by Sprinklermatic Fire Protection, Inc. Sprinklermatic Florida LLC will accept all pricing, terms, and conditions of the agreement with Rich Collier dba Sprinklermatic Fire Protections Systems, Inc.
• This acknowledgement will ensure that invoices are paid according to statutory requirements.
• This contract was awarded by the County Administrator on December 7th, 2018, in the amount of $1,096,800.00. On February 25, 2022, the Purchasing Director approved the First Amendment, adding additional locations with no change to the contract amount. On September 22, 2022, the County Administrator approved the Second Amendment, increasing the contract amount by $150,000.00 due to several major unanticipated repairs. On May 23, 2023, the BCC approved the Third Amendment to increase the contract amount by $250,000.00 to a total contract amount of $1,496,800.00.
• The contract uses funding from multiple funds, centers, accounts, and programs.

Summary:
The purpose of the Fourth Amendment is to acknowledge the corporate name change of Robin Collier dba Sprinklermatic Fire Protection Systems Inc to Sprinklermatic Florida LLC. The agreement has been assigned to Sprinklermatic Florida LLC who will accept the pricing, terms, and conditions of the existing agreement.
