Summary:

The County seeks to grant status to the Vincent House for donation of surplus miscellaneous personal property.  The offered surplus property will consist primarily of electronics, office equipment and furnishings, which are no longer needed to support County operations.  The County, per Section 274.05 Florida State Statutes, is authorized to donate surplus property.  As a potential recipient, the Vincent House will be provided notice of available surplus property and will be afforded opportunity to acquire said surplus items by donation, prior to advertisement of the items for sale.

 

Background Information:

The mission of the Vincent House is to assist, promote, and celebrate individuals recovering from mental illness, and other disabilities, in their effort to improve social and vocational skills, and become employed in the community.  The Vincent House is a 501(c) 3 entity founded in 2003.
