Summary:
Staff has reviewed the bids and recommends award to Keystone in the amount of $2,468,294.00.
The purpose of this project is to construct drainage improvements, including stormwater pipes and inlets, to address flooding, level of service and water quality of the outfall at Antilles Drive and Oakhurst Road.
Background Information:
This project will address existing street flooding by upgrading the drainage infrastructure. Work consists of installation of approximately 4,300 linear feet (LF) of stormwater pipe and associated drainage structures within existing roadway right-of-way; a concrete end wall for the proposed pipe outfall; 400 LF of rip-rap rubble ditch lining; 3,000 LF of five foot wide concrete sidewalk and related pavement restoration.

Funding for this project is derived from the Infrastructure Sales Tax (Penny for Pinellas): Stormwater Conveyance System Improvement Program (68%) and the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) (32%).
