Approval of the First Amendment with Kaus Media Services for International Sales and Public Representation - Central Europe.
• The contract provides in-market sales and Public Relations (PR) representation services in Central Europe.
• The First Amendment provides for an extension until September 30, 2027, and increase of $255,000.00 for a not to exceed total of $1,767,000.00.
• The increase of $255,000.00 accounts for an additional 10 months of services and maintains the current rate for service and current amount for reimbursables until a new contract can be competitively solicited and awarded.
• Sales and PR services are necessary to assist Convention and Visitors Bureau staff in meeting international tourism program goals and objectives.
• Funding for this amendment is budget in the Tourist Development Tax Fund in the Convention and Visitors Bureau’s Fiscal Year 2027 Operating Budget request.
Contract No. 21-0675-LI(PW) increase of $255,000.00 for a total contract not to exceed $1,767,000.00 through September 30, 2027; Authorize the Chairman to sign and the Clerk of the Circuit Court to attest.

These services are necessary to assist the CVB in meeting international tourism program goals and objectives that increase awareness of the County as a premier travel destination and increase tourism business for the County.
