(CCSP) to provide grant funding for the rehabilitation and conversion of administrative office space to residential special-needs housing.

Summary:
One of the projects to be carried out under the County’s Annual Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2017 (FY17) is the Catholic Charities, Diocese of St. Petersburg Facility Rehabilitation project. This agreement will provide funding to CCSP for facility improvements to convert administrative office space to residential special-needs housing. Construction improvements include site grading, asphalt paving, sodding, irrigation, landscaping, pest control, interior painting, installation of concrete ramps, railing and fencing, replacement of roofing, flooring, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems and ducts, kitchen and windows, as well as the preparation of a boundary survey at Christopher Annex.
The LURA will become effective immediately and end on September 30, 2031.
Background/Explanation:
In accordance with the adopted Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan, it is necessary to enter into SPA with qualified agencies to allow for certain activities stated in the Annual Action Plan to be contractually delegated and specify the obligation of the agencies receiving funds in meeting Federal, State and County requirements.
Fiscal Impact:
The total amount of funding for this agreement is not to exceed $157,298.00 during the term of the Agreement. Funding for this Agreement is budgeted from FY17 Community Development Block Grant funds.
Delegated Authority:
Authority for the County Administrator to sign this Agreement is granted under Code Section 2-62 (a) (1).
