Approval and execution by the County Administrator of Change Order No. 1 with Bayshore Construction, Inc. for Countywide Annual Boardwalk Fishing Pier, and Observation Tower Improvements.
• Change Order No. 1 removes the retainage provision from the Agreement. Retainage should not have been included in this agreement and was due to scrivener error.
• This Agreement was approved by the Board of County Commissioners on May 24, 2022.
• No fiscal impact associated with Change Order No. 1.

Summary:
Change Order No. 1 removes the retainage provision from the Agreement, which was unintentionally added by the County prior to execution. This was due to a scrivener error.
Background/Explanation:
Proposed improvements as part of the project consist of removal and replacement of decking, handrail, stringers, joists, and wooden piles at various County Park locations. The project will increase public safety by updating existing construction to current standards and codes as well as extending the existing facilities.
