Summary:
The Pinellas Suncoast Fire Rescue District (PSFRD) filed a lawsuit against the Pinellas County Emergency Medical Services Authority on or about May 2, 2016. That lawsuit was abated to allow the parties to proceed through the intergovernmental dispute resolution process of Chapter 164, Florida Statutes. Through that process, staff of PSFRD and Pinellas County researched a proposed settlement as attached hereto. The PSFRD Board approved the attached proposed settlement July 11, 2017.
