Background Information:
The 2024 - 2026 contract on governance between the Area Agency of Pasco-Pinellas (AAAPP) and the Florida Department of Elder Affairs includes a provision related to Board Terms and Vacancies as follows:
“If a Board member has served for three (3) terms consecutively or nine (9) consecutive years, the Board member must sit out two (2) years before the Board member can be renominated for Board membership.”
For contract compliance, the Chair shall nominate one Commissioner to replace Comm. Justice as the Pinellas County BCC appointee to the AAAPP
