Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the Fifth Amendment Term Extension with Wise Hands, LLC.
• This contract provides Trees - Planting Services and other Plant Materials
• This Fifth Amendment exercises the third of four twelve-month term extensions per the terms of the original contract approved by the County Administrator, increasing by $221,834.60 and extending through August 2, 2027.
• On August 3, 2023, the County Administrator approved the original contract with Wise Hands LLC in the not-to-exceed amount of $221,834.60. On October 29, 2023, the Division Director of Purchasing approved the First Amendment to revise Exhibit C - Payment Schedule to include a pay item and corresponding language with no increase to contract. On May 10, 2024, the County Administrator approved the Second Amendment exercising the first term extension. On August 16, 2024, the Director of Purchasing approved the Third Amendment to increase the markup percentage on lines 1-52 with no increase to contract. On June 11, 2025, the County Administrator approved the Fourth Amendment exercising the second term extension.
• Funding for this amendment is included in the FY26 budget for Public Works within the County Transportation Trust Fund. Funding for future years is dependent on approval in the annual County Operating Budget.
Contract No. 23-0713-ITB increase in the amount of $221,834.60 for a revised not-to-exceed amount of $887,338.40, effective through August 2, 2027, with an annual expenditure of $221,834.60.

Summary:
This Fifth Amendment exercises the third of four (4) twelve (12) month term extensions. Services include but are not limited to providing and installing trees and other plant materials, mulching, staking, spraying of herbicides/pesticides and watering as and when required annually

On August 3, 2023, the County Administrator approved a twelve-month agreement with Wise Hands LLC in the not-to-exceed amount of $221,834.60.

Revised Total not-to-exceed amount: $887,338.40
Annual expenditure: $221,834.60
