Summary:

Summary

This agreement satisfies the annual requirements of maintenance, support, upgrades, and training for the AVEVA software suite necessary to operate the SCADA system. This software has been deployed to Pinellas County’s major water treatment facilities and roughly 400 offsite/pumpstation locations for the past 21 years. The source code for this software is closed, and no other firm can provide maintenance and support for this proprietary product.

The Agreement intentionally omits the Termination for Convenience clause (Section 14, Subsection C of the Pinellas County Terms and Conditions) as a vendor requirement as approved by the Utilities department. The Termination for Cause clause remains in full effect.
