Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the First Amendment (contract extension) to the agreement with Kimszal Contracting, Inc. for Interior Painting Services.
• Contract 22-0485-B is for countywide interior painting services.
• This first amendment extends the contract by twelve (12) months for a new end date of October 30, 2026, in the amount of $187,153.00 for a revised, not-to-exceed amount of $748,613.00.
• The contract was awarded by the County Administrator on October 31, 2022, in the amount of $561,460.00 with an initial term of thirty-six (36) months.
• This agreement is used on an as-needed basis with no obligation to spend the full amount of the contract or to spend in any given year. Funding for this amendment is included in the FY26 Adopted Budget in multiple Departments in multiple operating and capital funds. This agreement has historically been used the Construction and Proprerty Management Department, Parks and Conservation Resources, Public Works, Utilities, and other departments.
