Approval by the County Administrator of the Purchase Authorization with Parts Town LLC for Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) of Facilities and Grounds Supplies, Equipment, Tool Rental, Sales, and Services utilizing The Interlocal Purchasing System ("TIPS"), a government purchasing cooperative and Department of Texas Region 8 Education Service Center, contract.
• This Purchase Authorization provides the Construction and Property Management Department (CPM) with the ability to augment the current purchase authorization with W.W. Grainger, Inc. using State of Florida Contract No. 31160000-25-NASPO-ACS for maintenance, repair and operations of facilities and grounds supplies, equipment, tool rental, sales and services.
• While not as comprehensive a supplier as W.W. Grainger, Parts Town LLC can provide certain equipment and repair parts in an expedited manner as compared to W.W. Grainger resulting in reduced down time.
• Pricing is per TIPS RFP 240501 through the Department of Texas Region 8 Education Service Center.
• Contract total not to exceed amount is $1,000,000.00 for a period of 48 months, effective through TIPS contract expiration of July 31, 2029. There is provision for a one-year term extension.
• Funding for this agreement is included in the FY26 Operating Budget for CPM in the General Fund.
• Funding for FY26 and future years will be dependent on the adoption of the annual County Operating Budget.
Contract No. 25-0826-PB in the total not-to-exceed amount of $1,000,000.00, effective for four years, with an estimated annual not-to-exceed amount of $250,000.00.

Summary:
This purchase authorization will allow us to use a supplemental contract aside from Contract 25-0212-PB (Facilities MRO and Industrial Supplier - Countywide) with W.W. Grainger, Inc. using State of Florida Contract No. 31160000-25-NASPO-ACS.
Background/Explanation:
This agreement will be utilizing The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS) Request for Proposal (RFP) Contract 240501 for Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) of Facilities and Grounds, Supplies, Equipment, Tool Rental, Sales and Services.
There is provision for one (1) one-year term extension.
Fiscal Impact:
Estimated annual not-to-exceed expenditure: $250,000.00
Total expenditure not-to-exceed amount: $1,000,000.00
Funding for this agreement is included in the FY26 Operating Budget for CPM in the General Fund.
Funding for FY26 and future years will be dependent on the adoption of the annual County Operating Budget.
