• This contract provides preventative maintenance services and emergency repair response for three County bascule bridges (Dunedin, Park Boulevard, and Beckett).
• Change Order No. 2 increases the contract by $95,000.00 and adds 90 days to allow time for solicitation and award of a new contract.
• Additional emergency repair services for the three bascule bridges exceeded the amount originally reserved in the contract for this purpose, and therefore, there is a need to replenish the contract for preventative maintenance services.
• Funding for this agreement is included in the current year budget of Public Works in the Transportation Trust Fund.
Contract No. 190-0475-B for an increase of $95,000.00, revising the total contract to $1,245,735.00 and adding 90 days for the revised end date of January 15, 2026.

This contract was approved by the County Administrator on October 15, 2020, in the amount of $670,600.00. Change Order No. 1 provided a contract term extension that was authorized in the original contract if mutually agreed to by both parties for 730 consecutive calendar days and a revised total contract of $1,150,735.00.
