Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the request to close the County’s UHC Imprest Account and return funds the County did not authorize for payment.
• A final settlement agreement from UHC was reached in the amount of $126,286.55 after credits were applied.
• County administrator to countersign UHC settlement agreement.
• Funding will come to the County in the amount of $126,286.55. This revenue is not budgeted.

Summary:
UHC withdrew $178,449.19 on 12/22/22 and $9,994.02 on 2/17/23 from County’s UHC Imprest account. Neither of these amounts were authorized for payment as account was limited to pay runout claims. County demanded return of funds via certified letter signed by County Administrator on 2/23/23. Final audit found $48,752.07 credited to County account 5/24 (prior to account closure 6/24), followed by a check issued 5/24 $3,410.57 cashed in 10/24. After above credits, a final settlement agreement from UHC was reached in the amount of $126,286.55.
Once agreement is signed by UHC and County Administrator, check will be hand delivered by UHC in March 2024 to the County.
