Summary:
This Amendment realigns $7,822,700 within the County Transportation Trust Fund, $294,850 within the Emergency Medical Services Fund, $50,000,000 within the Sewer Renewal and Replacement Fund, and $3,100,000 within the Employee Health Benefits Fund. This amendment does not change the total appropriations for the requesting funds as these are only realignments within the requesting fund.
Background/Explanation:
This Amendment realigns $7,822,700 within the County Transportation Trust Fund for Public Works due to budget not aligning with where actuals are now needed. This realignment will aid the department in tracking spending and has no impact on total appropriations for the County Transportation Trust Fund.
It realigns $295,850 within the Emergency Medical Services Fund for SES due to a more appropriate Program for the EMS Trust Fund Distribution Project. This realignment will only change the program used and has no fiscal impact on total revenue for the Emergency Medical Services Fund. Previously, the incorrect program was used in the Budget and this amendment adjusts this to the correct program only, fixing a scrivener’s error.
It realigns $50,000,000 within the Sewer Renewal and Replacement Fund for Utilities due to a more appropriate account needed for transfer funding. This realignment will only change the account used in the Budget and has no fiscal impact on total revenue for the Sewer Renewal and Replacement Fund. Actuals have been coming from the correct fund and received into the correct account, this amendment aligns the budget to that correct account and adjusts a scrivener’s error in the Adopted Budget.
It realigns $3,100,000 within the Employee Health Benefits Fund for Human Resources due to there not being sufficient funding to cover medical and dental claims expenses in FY25. Additionally, this will separate dental claims and medical claims in the budget and has no impact on total appropriations for the Employee Health Benefits Fund.
Fiscal Impact:
Realign $7,822,700 within the County Transportation Trust Fund, $294,850 within the Emergency Medical Services Fund, $50,000,000 within the Sewer Renewal and Replacement Fund, and $3,100,000 within the Employee Health Benefits Fund.
This amendment does not change the total appropriations or revenue for the requesting funds as these are only realignments within the requesting fund.
Delegated Authority:
