Summary:
• The applicant submitted a cash surety in the amount of $22,573.32 to be held as the completion surety for right-of-way utilization permit 22-01388.
• The work has been completed and found to be complete and acceptable.
• We can release $17,573.32 of the surety to BH Storage Sunset LLC.
• The balance of $5,000.00 will be held as maintenance surety for a period of eighteen (18) months.
• There is no fiscal impact. Funds have been held in a surety account.
Background/Explanation:
A completion surety was required for work in the right-of-way at 1945 Sunset Point Road., Clearwater FL 33765. The Public Works Department has inspected the site and advised the work was found to be complete and acceptable. There will be an 18-month maintenance. The permit will not be closed until the maintenance period is completed and the County is prepared to release $5,000.00 of the maintenance surety to applicant.
