Recommended Action
Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Administrative Budget Amendment No. 1 (Amendment) pursuant to Florida Statute Section 129.06(2)(b) and Pinellas County Resolution No. 04-62.
• Realign $583,680 within the FY25 Adopted Budget (Budget) for County Administrator in the General Fund.
• The proposed realignment between County Administrator centers is requested to enable efficient financial resource management by centralizing funding. It consolidates the Strategic Initiatives budget into the County Administrator’s operating budget to enhance flexibility and streamline financial management. By centralizing funding under a single budgetary umbrella, this adjustment simplifies resource allocation and allows for a more cohesive approach to addressing county-wide priorities. This change ensures that operating costs for Strategic Initiatives are fully integrated into the broader County Administrator budget, enabling more efficient deployment of financial resources to meet organizational goals and adapt to evolving needs.
• This amendment does not change the total appropriations for the General Fund, it only realigns a total of $583,680.00 within the General Fund. As such, it has no fiscal impact.
