Approval by the County Administrator of the emergency repair with QRC Inc. for Hurricane Milton - 74th Avenue North, Seminole-24” & Indian Rocks Road 6” CIP SP3584 and SP3585.
• Emergency purchase order for repairs to 74th Avenue North, Seminole-24” & Indian Rocks Road 6” CIP SP3584 and SP3585, damaged by severe weather conditions brought on by Hurricane Milton.
• 74th Avenue North, Seminole-24” FM has multiple breaks and requires 350LF of 24” ductile iron pipe replaced with PVC pipe. The repairs will require installing line stops, temporary bypass pipes with valves, dewatering, MOT, and road restoration. The cost estimate for this repair is $1,766,366.44.
• Indian Rocks Road 6” WM pipe overhead crossing support structures were damaged; we will replace the line with 440LF of 8” HDPE pipe. The new line will be a subaqueous crossing rather than an overhead exterior crossing. The cost estimate for this repair is $146,009.60.
• Not-to-exceed amount of $1,912,376.00.
• Funds in the amount of $163,726,400.00 are available in the Utilities Department Sewer Revenue and Operating Fund Fiscal Year 2025 Adopted Budget.

Summary:
Approval of emergency request for Hurricane Milton - two emergency purchase orders for repairs to our water and wastewater infrastructure, which was damaged by severe weather conditions brought on by Hurricane Milton.
The two emergency repairs are as follows:
1. 74th Ave N, Seminole-24” FM has multiple breaks and requires 350LF of 24” ductile iron pipe replaced with PVC pipe. The repairs will require installing line stops, temporary bypass pipes with valves, dewatering, MOT, and road restoration. The cost estimate for this repair is $1,766,366.44.
