Approval by the County Administrator of the emergency repair with Gibbs & Register, Inc. for a failed drainage pipe on Channelside Lane between homes 7281 and 7295 in Pinellas County.
• This request provides emergency repair for a failed drainage pipe between homes located at 7281 and 7295 Channelside Lane in Pinellas County for the not-to-exceed amount of $142,359.00.
• The emergency request is for the following items: Removal and replacement of a 15" storm sewer pipe between homes, remove and replace 6" sanitary lateral, new 15" mitered end section (MES), rip rap, and sod restoration.
• Current work order contractors didn’t have the resources to take on the emergency repair; Gibbs & Register is a current County contractor that had the capacity to address the failed pipe quickly.
• Funds for this expense is consistent and included in the FY25 Adopted budget within the Surface Water Utility fund.
Contract No. 25-0149-E in the amount of $142,359.00.
