Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the Second Amendment for industrial buildings specialized cleanings services with Clean Space Inc.
• This contract is for industrial buildings with specialized cleaning services to various Solid Waste and Utilities locations.
• This Second Amendment provides for the addition of vents at the Solid Waste building and an increase of $99,800.00 to the Clean Space Inc. contract for a new total contract value not to exceed $761,212.00.
• The County Administrator approved the contract to Clean Space on August 1, 2022, in the amount of $661,412.00 for a duration of five years. The First Amendment was approved by the Purchasing Director on October 26, 2024, providing for additional cleaning services with no increase to the contract cap.
• Funding is available in the Solid Waste Revenue and Operating Fund, Household Hazardous Waste Cost Center included in the FY25 Adopted Budget. However, funding is insufficient in the Repair & Maintenance - Buildings account for the Household Hazardous Waste cost center. The department has sufficient lapse savings to absorb the cost of this contract.
Contract No. 22-0155-ITB increase in the amount of $99,800.00 for a revised total contract amount of $761,212.00 and estimated annual expenditure of $152,242.40, effective through July 31, 2027.
