Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the purchasing authorization and agreements with Bentley Mills, Inc., Mannington Mills, Inc., Shaw Integrated and Turf Solutions, Inc., and Tarkett USA Inc. for Flooring Materials with Related Supplies and Services.
• Purchasing authorization and agreements with four (4) vendors anticipated to meet the countywide requirements of flooring materials, related supplies, and services.
• These agreements will be primarily used for office renovations and/or programmed carpet/flooring replacement.
• This purchasing authorization has a combined total not to exceed amount of $1,950,000.00.
• Pricing is per the State of Florida Contract No. 301617000-SRCWL-ACS, effective through August 9, 2027.
• The County Administrator has the authority to award County contracts in any amount utilizing State of Florida bid or negotiated contracts.
• Funding for this is included in the FY25 Budget of DAS in the General Fund. The agreements have fiscal non-funding clauses, should this portion of the budget not be approved.
Contract No. 24-0923-S in the combined total not to exceed amount of $1,950,000.00, effective through August 9, 2027.

Summary:
Approval of these agreements will provide a mechanism for various departments to purchase flooring materials, supplies, and related services, including, but not limited to the removal and disposal of old flooring and the preparation and installation of new flooring.

These agreements are per the pricing, terms, and conditions of the State of Florida Contract No. 301617000-SRCWL-ACS valid through August 9, 2027
Fiscal Impact:
Bentley Mills, Inc no to exceed: $250,000.00
Mannington Mills, Inc not to exceed: $575,000.00
Shaw Integrated and Turf Solutions Inc not to exceed: $575,000.00
Tarkett USA Inc not to exceed: $550,000.00
Total not to exceed expenditure: $1,950,000.00
Funding for this is included in the FY25 Budget of DAS in the General Fund.
Delegated Authority:
Authority for the County Administrator to sign these agreements is granted under Code Section 2-185(a).
