Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the First Amendment to exercise a term extension to the Agreement with Brenntag Mid-South, Inc. for Sulfur Dioxide, Technical Grade Various.
• The contract provides Sulfur Dioxide, Technical Grade - Various utilized in water treatment.
• This First Amendment exercises a twelve-month term extension in accordance with the original agreement, increasing the contract by $203,600.00 for a revised not to exceed amount of $407,200.00.
• On October 10, 2023, the County Administrator approved this contract in the amount of $203,600.00 for a twelve-month term.
• Funding for this Amendment is included in the FY24 Adopted Budget in the Utilities Department in the Sewer Revenue and Operating Fund. Funding for the second year of this agreement is included in the requested FY25 Budget submission.
