Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the Second Amendment term extension to the contract with Island Way Property Service, LLC for vacant property landscape maintenance and services.
• The contract provides vacant property landscape maintenance services at various county locations. Maintenance class and frequency are assigned per property depending upon location and type of services as well as on an as-needed basis.
• This Amendment exercises the first twenty-four-month renewal and adds two new service locations at the corner of Madonna Blvd. and 6th Avenue North, Tierra Verde and Pinellas Bayway / Tierra Verde Medians (9 total medians).
• Funding for this Amendment is on an as-needed basis and is included in the FY24 Adopted Budget in multiple Departments in multiple funds. Funding for the second year of this agreement is partially included in the requested FY25 Budget submission and partially to be requested in future budgets.
Contract No. 22-0303-B increase of $426,522.57 for a revised not-to-exceed amount of $852,034.03.

Background/Explanation:
This contract was awarded by the County Administrator on January 3, 2023, in the amount of $406,482.46. The First Amendment was approved by the County Administrator on November 22, 2023 to add two (2) service locations and $19,029.00, increasing the contract not-to-exceed amount to $425,511.46.

Revised Contract not-to-exceed amount: $852,034.03
The contract uses funds from the operating budgets of the various departments utilizing these services.
