Summary:

BTS is establishing an Intergovernmental Services Agreement with TBRPC. Per the Agreement, it is to be reviewed, updated, and renewed on an annual basis.

Background/Explanation:

This agreement establishes a relationship with TBRPC to provide Information Technology (IT) services, replacing a former 3rd party service provider.  BTS services provided to TBRPC will be leveraging existing County resources and all expenses offset with an annual service fee starting with an initial prorated period beginning February 23, 2024, through September 30, 2024, with the first full-service period beginning October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025.  The exhibits detail the IT services provided, cost for the service, and billing information. BTS has also included hourly rates for TBRPC, if chosen, to engage additional IT resources that may fall outside the current scope of IT services provided. Per Section 2 of the Agreement, the additional annual renewals may continue “by mutual written agreement with TBRPC and the County through and approved by the County Administrator”.

Fiscal Impact:

This Agreement will result in a revenue stream of $ 20,464.81 for the initial period starting February 23, 2024 through September 30, 2024, and $29,356.21 for the first full service period beginning October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025 into the BTS fund, which offsets the costs of providing IT services to TBRPC. The revenue and associated expense are accounted for in the BTS FY24 Budget Estimate and BTS FY25 Budget Request.
