Approval by the County Administrator of the cancellation of the agreement with Mirage Software Inc DBA Bourntec Solutions Inc for Database Administration Managed Services for Opus.
• This contract was approved by the County Administrator on February 2, 2022, for thirty-six (36) months through Feb 1, 2025.
• Business Technology Services (BTS) is requesting to exercise the Termination for Convenience clause in Section 8 (“Termination”), subsection C (“Termination for Convenience”) with thirty days’ notice in the Agreement as BTS has decided to go a different direction with future planning.
• The termination letter to the vendor will be signed and sent by the Division Director of Purchasing and Risk Management.
• This termination will eliminate the last twelve months of the contract and avoid $180,000.00 in expenditures.
Contract No. 22-0189-G in the current annual not to exceed sum of $192,000.00 in year one, $186,000.00 in year two, and $180,000.00 in year three, for a total not to exceed amount of $558,000.00 for thirty-six (36) months.

Purchase authorization was approved by the County Administrator on February 2, 2022, for thirty-six (36) months through Feb 1, 2025.
Fiscal Impact:
Total expenditure not to exceed: $558,000.00
Annual not to exceed amounts:
Year 1: $192,000.00
Year 2: $186,000.00
Year 3: $180,000.00
Funding is consistent with the FY24 adopted budget. With cancellation, funds will be released from this purpose and assigned to anticipated lapse to fund future direction.
Delegated Authority:
Authority for the County Administrator to sign this termination is granted under Code Section 2-62 (a)(2).
