Approval of the Petition by Antonia M. Raudszus and Justin P. Adams to vacate that portion of the 15-foot public utilities easement located on the property at 12077 92nd Way North in unincorporated Largo.

 

                     Request is for vacation of a 2.2-foot wide by 41.6-foot-long portion of a 15-foot-wide public utility easement.

                     Petitioners are requesting a vacation to resolve an existing encroachment in the easement.

                     County staff has no objection to the vacation request.

                     If petition is granted, Board of County Commissioners is asked to adopt the attached Resolution pursuant to Florida State Statute 177.101.

 

Authorize the Clerk of the Circuit Court to record the Resolution in the public records of Pinellas County.

Summary

The purpose of the request is to vacate the western 2.2-feet of 15-foot-wide platted public utility easement on the petitioner’s property at 12077 92nd Way North. The petitioner is requesting the vacation to resolve an existing pool enclosure and deck encroachment.

Furthermore, no letters of objection were received from Pinellas County Utilities, Duke Energy, Frontier, Spectrum and WOW!

Background Information:

County departments were queried and have no objections to the vacation request. The petition was properly advertised in accordance with Florida State Statute 177.101. Notices were mailed by the Clerk of the Court to property owners within 250 feet of the subject property. The Deputy Clerk will report to the Board any citizen support or opposition.

 

Fiscal Impact:

$750.00 has been received as a Petition Fee from the Petitioners for this request.
